One-step hydrothermal synthesis of C, W-codoped mesoporous TiO2 with enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity

► C, W-codoped mesoporous TiO2 is prepared by one-step hydrothermal method. ► C, W-codoped TiO2 exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. ► The co-operation of C and W promoted the separation of the photo-generated electrons and holes.
