Anomalous dielectric response with suppression in Neel temperature of Bi0.9Y0.1Fe1−xMnxO3 (0 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.07) ceramics

► Bi0.9Y0.1Fe1−xMnxO3 samples with x = 0, 0.03, 0.05 and 0.07 were prepared by rapid liquid phase sintering method. ► Interestingly, an anomaly near the Neel temperature is observed in the dielectric measurements. ► The suppression in Neel temperature from 640 to 560 K is observed as we increase x = 0-0.07. ► Moreover, the enhancement in magnetization is observed by the doping of Mn.
