Structural and magnetic properties of SrFe12−2xTixRuxO19

► Strontium hexaferrites system was doped with TiRu. ► The doping does not affect the particle size of the systems. ► Mössbauer data revealed that Ti-Ru replaces Fe ions at different site occupations. ► Coercivity reduced by 70% as a result of the replacement of Fe ions by Ti-Ru ions.
