Effect of Mo on microstructure and mechanical properties of Nb-Ti-C-B multiphase alloy

► Different Mo-added Nb-Ti-C-B multiphase alloys were investigated. ► Mo addition promotes the coarsening of boride phase. ► The Mo-added alloys exhibit the higher strength and hardness. ► Mo exhibits the excellent solid solution strengthening effect.
