ZnO nanoparticles: Structural, optical and photoconductivity characteristics

► ZnO NPs are synthesized by thermal decomposition method with zinc acetate as a precursor. ► High reaction-time results in a significant reduction in PL intensity. ► In photoconductivity properties, high reaction time manifests in improved photosensitivity. ► Spectral analysis shows better photoresponse in UV region.
