High energy ball-milling preparation of Co-B amorphous alloy with high electrochemical hydrogen storage ability

► A series of Co-B amorphous alloys were synthesized by high energy ball-milling. ► Their max discharge capacity was 3.2 times higher than previous reports. ► The hydrogen storage mechanism for the Co-B electrodes was investigated.
