Excess-conductivity of Nd0.1Y0.9Ba2Cu3O7−δ and Ca0.1Y0.9Ba2Cu3O7−δ superconductors: A quantitative comparison between results of aliovalent and isovalent substitutions in Y-site

► The superconducting properties of YBa2Cu3O7−δ (Y-123) superconductor are affected by Nd and Ca substitutions. ► We compare the excess conductivity data with some theoretical models. ► The dimensionality and the phase relaxation time variation are discussed for both of the samples.
