Synthesis and electromagnetic characteristics of BaFe12O19/ZnO composite material

► Hexaferrites and BaFe12O19/ZnO composites as electromagnetic wave absorbers. ► High temperature hydrolysis enables growth of nano-sized ZnO particles on Barium ferrite. ► ZnO nanoparticles on Barium ferrite will increase surface anisotropic field. ► The EM-absorption of BaFe12O19/ZnO composites is greater than that of pure Barium ferrite.
