Fabrication of CuW pseudo alloy by W-CuO nanopowders

► Nanosized CuW alloy was prepared with W-CuO nanopowders by sintering and infiltration. ► Nanosized CuW has a good arc erosion resistance due to its split characteristic of cathode spots. ► Both the hardness and electrical conductivity of nanosized CuW alloy are improved.
