Photoluminescence analysis of Cd0.8Mn0.2Te single crystal grown by the vertical Bridgman method

▶ The single-crystal Cd0.8Mn0.2Te plates with dimension of 30 × 40 × 2 mm3 were grown by the vertical Bridgman method. ▶ The activation energies of Cd0.8Mn0.2Te were derived from the PL quenching experiment. ▶ A relationship for the bandgap energy vs. temperature was obtained. ▶ The PL mapping on the (1 1 1) faces Cd0.8Mn0.2Te plate was conducted.
