Effects of Fe substitution on structural and magnetic properties of the Nd2Co7−xFex compounds

▶ Single-phase compounds Nd2Co7−xFex are synthesized with x = 0.0−2.1. ▶ Nd2Co7−xFex exhibit two spin-reorientation transitions (SRT) for x < 1.5. ▶ Fe substitution for Co elevates both the SRT temperatures. ▶ Magnetic phase diagram (T−x) of Nd2Co7−xFex is constructed. ▶ The saturation magnetization is increased substantially by Fe substitution.
