Stability enhancement by particle size reduction in AlH3

▶ From our theoretical study we have found that all polymorphs of AlH3 are insulators. ▶ We have identified most stable surface of AlH3 polymorphs. ▶ We have predicted that the critical size for the AlH3 nano-cluster is less than 1 nm. ▶ Nano particles of AlH3 are highly stable than the corresponding decomposed phases.
