Magnetic properties of the ternary RMgSn (RÂ =Â Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd-Tm): First series of antiferromagnetic CeScSi-type structure compounds

▶ The RMgSn compounds (R = Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd-Tm) represent the first CeScSi-type series with antiferromagnetic behavior. ▶ The PrMgSn compound presents a structural transition between the TiNiSi-type (H.T. form) and the CeScSi-type (L.T. form).
