Influence of heat treatment on the microstructure and performance of high-velocity oxy-fuel sprayed WC-12Co coatings

►Amorphous phase gradually transformed to eta phase with the increase of heat treatment temperature. ►Different eta phases generate in the different place that the content of C and W in binder are different. ►Significant interaction diffusion at coating-substrate interface occurred at 950 °C and above. ►The WC-12Co coating heat treated at 950 °C exhibits the highest wear resistance
