The influence of N ion bombardment on the properties of PET surface and SiNx/PET complex

► Chemical bonds observed on PET after N ions bombardment. ► Nitrogen incorporated surfaces promoted cross link PET and SiNx coating. ► SiNx/PET sandwich is highly bending resistive, no cracks/overlaps observed when DC power 150 W used for the modifications.
