Archaeometrical study of Celtic ceramics from Monte Bibele (Bologna, Italy)

►Archaeological Buccheroide pottery from Monte Bibele (Italy) has a fine fabric. ►This fabric was obtained by using local red clays without added temper. ►The pottery was fired at temperatures accidentally variable from < 700 °C to > 900 °C. ►The potter adopted two different combinations of reducing and oxidising conditions. ►The two combinations usually gave red/black or black/red layer coloured paste.
