► Coupled modelling of a near-well model and a reservoir model is studied. ► Coupled modelling is applied to multi-phase flow in 3D simulations. ► Examples of drilling-induced formation damage and water shut-off treatment are shown. ► Near-well formation damage is considered in field scale simulations.
