Microstructure of diphase dendrite in Al-35%La alloy during solidification

► By casting in metal, graphite and sand molds, Al-35%La alloys were fabricated. ► With the help of X-ray diffraction and SEM, we present a novel dendrite structure. ► Solidification velocities have effects on the microstructure of the alloy.
