Bridgman growth and characterization of Bi4(GexSi1−x)3O12 mixed crystals

► The mixed crystals of BGSO have been grown along [0 1 0] direction by the vertical Bridgman method. ► The X-ray diffraction patterns of the mixed crystal were investigated. ► The transmittance spectra of the mixed crystal were achieved in the UV and visible light regions.
