Floating zone growth and anisotropic magnetic properties of Pr1/2+ySr1/2−yMnO3 single crystal

► Single crystal Pr1/2+ySr1/2−yMnO3 was prepared by the floating zone technique. ► Slight inhomogeneous element distribution of the crystal may be inevitable. ► A slight change of Sr ratio does affect the physical properties ultimately. ► Doped manganites is a system strongly depends on the ratio of Mn3+/Mn4+.
