A study on the luminescence properties of CaAl2B2O7:Eu2+ phosphor

A novel phosphor CaAl2B2O7:Eu2+ was synthesized by a modified solid-state reaction. ► Glycine can play the role of dispersant and reduce the synthesis temperature. ► The mechanism of energy transfer was investigated in CaAl2B2O7:Eu2+ phosphors.
