X-ray diffraction studies on (NaCl)x(NaBr)y−x(NaI)1−y crystals

We have grown (NaCl)x(NaBr)y−x(NaI)1−y crystals by the melt method for various values of x and y. Thermal parameters like Debye–Waller factor, Debye temperature, mean square amplitude of vibration and Debye frequency were determined using the X-ray powder diffraction intensity data. The results obtained are reported here.
