												The complex permeability has been measured versus frequency for nanocrystalline Fe86Zr7B6Cu1 ribbons with the grain size from 11.2 to 107.2 nm under biasing DC magnetic field. It is shown that the effects of the biasing dc magnetic field on the initial permeability μi, the relaxation frequency f0, and the μif0 product of nanocrystalline Fe86Zr7B6Cu1 alloy relate to its grain size. The perpendicular biasing field leads to the decrease of μi and the increase of f0 for the ribbons with the grain size less than 25 nm and has no apparent effect on μi and f0 for the ribbons with the grain size more than 25 nm. The parallel biasing field results in the decrease of μi and the increase of f0 for the ribbons with the grain size more than 25 nm and has no apparent effect on μi and f0 for the ribbons with the grain size less than 25 nm. The biasing magnetic field is not a relevant parameter to μif0.
