New lock-in phenomena in intrinsic Josephson junctions of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+y with hole-array

► We report on motion of Josephson vortices (JVs) in Bi-2212 with anti-dots array. ► We have fabricated the in-line type junction for c-axis transport measurements. ► Five peaks in JV flow-resistance are observed instead of the lock-in phenomenon. ► JV flow-resistance is enhanced due to the arrangement of the pancake vortices. ► This experimental evidence gives a hint to generate a strong THz emission.
