Influence of the utilized precursors on the morphology and properties of YBa2Cu3O7−y superconducting nanostructures

► YBa2Cu3O7−x (Y-123) nanoparticles was synthesized by solid state processing. ► Inorganic precursor was used in the synthesis of YBa2Cu3O7−x. ► The effect of calcinations on morphology and particle size were investigated.
