Microwave properties of DyBCO monodomain in the mixed state and comparison with other RE-BCO systems

► Surface impedance measurements on Dy123 monodomains in the mixed state are presented. ► Larger London penetration depth is observed in the sample with stronger grain boundary signatures. ► The vortex viscosity of DyBCO monodomain shows same absolute values and temperature dependence as other 123 systems.
