J/ψJ/ψ's are jazzy

I discuss some of my early adventures in the study of J/ψJ/ψ production and suppression at Stony Brook and some of the things I've learned since then. My recent focus has been on quarkonium production in proton–proton (pp) collisions and cold nuclear matter effects in proton/deuteron–nucleus (pA, dA) collisions.
