Systematic of particle thermal freeze-out in a hadronic fireball at RHIC

We have used a unified statistical thermal freeze-out model of multi-particle production at RHIC, sNN=200 GeV and attempted to describe the transverse momentum spectra of P  , P¯, K  , K¯, Λ  , Λ¯, Ξ  , Ξ¯ and Ω. The available rapidity distributions of P  , P¯, P¯P, P−P¯, K  , K¯, Λ¯Λ and Ξ¯Ξ are also studied. The model incorporates the rapidity (collision) axis as well as the transverse direction boosts developed within an expanding hot and dense hadronic fluid (fireball) till the final freeze-out. The experimental evidence of the rapidity dependence on baryon chemical potential is also incorporated in the model. The rapidity distribution and the transverse momentum distribution of particles are reproduced simultaneously. We find an evidence of sequential freeze-out and different collective flow effects developed for different particle species at different times of evolution of the fireball. The parameters indicate the occurrence of freeze-out of the singly and doubly strange hyperon species at somewhat earlier times. The spectra are studied with the inclusion of heavier hadronic resonance decays.
