Wide-angle exclusive scattering - an update

The handbag mechanism for wide-angle exclusive scattering is discussed and compared with other theoretical approaches. Its application to Compton scattering, meson photo-production and two-photon annihilations into pairs of hadrons is reviewed in some detail.
