Search for a Standard Model Higgs boson in the H→γγ channel with the ATLAS experiment

The search of a Standard Model Higgs boson in the two photons channel with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is reviewed with a particular emphasys on the expected detector performance. The results of the inclusive analysis on the most recent samples of full simulated events are reported. Finally, the overall discovery potential in this channel is presented including next to leading order (NLO) corrections.
