Review of Charm Sector Mixing and CP Violation

The phenomenology of mixing and CP violation is briefly described. Experimental results from BaBar, Belle, CDF, and CLEO-c are reviewed. Results available at the time of the conference show no evidence for mixing or CP violation, and hence limits are set for the mixing parameters x, y, x′, y′, and several CP-violating parameters. Results are compared to theoretical predictions. Mixing analyses from BaBar and Belle presented subsequent to the conference are also briefly summarised. A preliminary average of these new results shows evidence for mixing at a significance of 5 σ. Finally, future prospects at BESIII, LHCb and a Super B-factory are discussed.
