Lepton-Flavor Violation and Physics beyond the Standard Model

Searches for the charged lepton-flavor violating (LFV) processes have a long history, while their importance is increasing now. The studies are important whether new physics is discovered at the LHC or not, since they have potential to probe physics higher than TeV scale. Here, we discuss the charged LFV processes from viewpoints of non-minimal Higgs boson, physics beyond standard model, and origin of the neutrino masses.
