A taste of Heavy Flavor Physics at HERA

In this talk some of the relevant measurements and analyses on heavy flavor production at HERA are briefly described. Emphasis is given to QCD-related aspects of the field. The references given correspond to a basic set of papers from which almost the complete bibliography on the subject can be extracted.
