High Energy Neutrino Emissions from GRBs: Predictions and Issues

Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are believed to be cosmic ray accelerators and high energy neutrino emitters. Within the framework of the standard GRB fireball model, neutrinos of a wide range of energy are produced from different emission sites. The published predictions of GRB neutrino emission are reviewed, especially in view of the latest GRB observations with Swift. Issues regarding the uncertainties in those predictions are discussed.
