Results on tau physics from HERA

Recent results on tau lepton production in e±p collisions at HERA are presented. Four different topics are covered: elastic τ+τ− pair production, isolated tau lepton events with missing transverse momentum, and two searches for new phenomena - decays of doubly charged Higgs bosons H++→e+τ+ and lepton flavour violation ep→τX.
