KM3NeT: a km3-scale neutrino telescope in the Mediterranean Sea

The KM3NeT consortium aims at the construction of a high energy (E ⩾ TeV) cubic-kilometer-scale neutrino telescope for the Northern hemisphere with an integrated platform for earth and deep sea sciences. The physics objectives, an outline of the major aspects of the technical KM3NeT design and telescope performance are presented.
