Vector meson spectrum at finite temperature in hidden local symmetry model ⁎

The restoration of chiral symmetry is reflected in many phenomenological consequences as changes in the spectrum of mesons. We study the temperature dependence of the vector-meson spectrum based on a model with hidden local symmetry (HLS), which is an effective model bridging the energy scale between chiral perturbation theory and QCD. We calculate vector meson spectrum and the complex pole of the propagator in the HLS model making use of resummation and low-temperature expansion. We find that in low temperature region the width of the spectrum grows gradually as temperature increases, while the mass of the vector meson drops rapidly in higher temperature. We discuss our results compared with the vector manifestation scenario in which the chiral partner of the pion is identified as the longitudinal mode of the vector meson.
