LCG Generator Services

In the framework of the Grid Computing at the LHC (LCG), the Generator Services activity, launched in 2003 under the oversight of the LHC Monte Carlo steering group (MC4LHC). The goal of the Generator Services project is to guarantee the physics generator support to the LHC experiments. Work is divided in four work packages. The current status and the future plans in the four different work packages are presented. Some emphasis is put on the LCG Generator Library and on the support to the development and upgrade of object oriented Monte Carlo models.
