Standardisation of a 229Th solution

The use of 229Th as tracer has become generalised for determination of naturally occurring alpha-emitting thorium isotopes. This paper describes two procedures that allow standardising 229Th solutions of the order of Bq/g without the need of radiochemical separation of its daughters.
