⺠We studied the effects of exogenous H2O2 on phenotype and functions of human pDCs. ⺠Human pDCs are more sensitive to oxidative stress induced by H2O2 than conventional DCs. ⺠Exposure to a low concentration of H2O2 did not activate pDCs. ⺠The presence of H2O2 inhibits activation of pDCs triggered by TLR7-mediated signals. ⺠Human pDCs exposed to oxidative stress in vivo may have an anti-inflammatory role.
