Performance evaluation and result comparison of the automated hematology analyzers Abbott CD 3700, Sysmex XE 2100 and Coulter LH 750 for cell counts in serous fluids

► Used the same batch of samples to compare the performance of 3 hematology analyzers ► The limits of detection for WBC of the CD 3700, XE 2100, and LH 750 were different. ► Results from analyzers were reliable when cell counts are over the limits of detection. ► Good correlations existed between the CD 3700, XE 2100, and LH 750 analyzers.
