Acceleration of neutrophil precursors' maturation and immunostimulation of CD3+, CD4+ lymphocytes by stanozolol in mice

► Short term use of stanozolol resulted in profound alterations in the lipoprotein profile of mice. ► Stimulation of granulopoiesis reveals acceleration of neutrophil precursors' maturation. ► Stanozolol intensifies erythropoiesis indicating its androgenic to anabolic efficacy. ► Immunoenhancing (CD3+ and CD4+) response of stanozolol is observed at optimum physiologic dose.
