► We analyzed the expression and localization of moneky 20a-HSD gene. ► This gene and protein are coordinately expressed in reproductive organs. ► Those expressions will depend on the estrous cycle stage. ► Protein localized mainly in the syncytiotrophoblast of the placenta. ► Promoter will express specifically in the reproductive tissues.
