Two-phase model for prediction of cell-free layer width in blood flow

► We developed a new numerical model for prediction of cell-free layer formation. ► Effect of aggregation on the layer formation was examined by using this model. ► The aggregation promoted the layer formation at low shear rates. ► This continuum model does not require a high computing cost.
