The use of parenteral nutrition for the management of PKU patient undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma: A case report

► Phenylketonuria (PKU) is a rare metabolic disorder of phenylalanine metabolism. ► Metabolic control can be a challenge in case of illness and in particular malignancy. ► We present use of custom made amino acid solution during chemotherapy for Burkit's Lymphoma. ► Phenylalanine levels and intake are summarized during three months chemotherapy. ► Metabolic control in PKU can be achieved with custom amino acid solution during chemotherapy.
