Inflorescence abnormalities occur with overexpression of Arabidopsis lyrata FT in the fwa mutant of Arabidopsis thaliana

► In this study, we found the inflorescence abnormalities. ► They occur with simultaneous overexpression of FT and FWA genes. ► We revealed the down-regulation of floral meristem identity genes. ► The ectopic expression of both FWA and FT might disturb the floral specification.
