Overproduction of the N-terminal anticodon-binding domain of the non-discriminating aspartyl-tRNA synthetase from Helicobacter pylori for crystallization and NMR measurements

► The anticodon-binding domain of the ND-AspRS from Helicobacter pylori was overproduced. ► The protein was monomeric in solution and thermally stable up to 42 °C. ► The 1D 1H NMR spectrum showed well-dispersed signals. ► Protein crystals were obtained at pH 5.6 with PEG 4000 as a co-precipitant.
