Serum levels of growth arrest specific protein 6 are increased in preeclampsia

► Serum levels of Gas6 were investigated in preeclampsia (PE) and control patients. ► Gas6 levels are increased during pregnancy in PE patients as compared to controls. ► Leptin and adiponectin are independent predictors of Gas6 levels. ► No difference in Gas6 levels between PE and control was detected after pregnancy.
