Determination of the electrokinetic potential of Rhizobium leguminosarum bv trifolii Rt24.2 using Laser Doppler Velocimetry - A methodological study

► Factors affecting the ζ potential results of bacterial culture must be defined. ► Dispersing media as well as the bacteria age influence the ζ potential. ► Storage of bacteria in low temperature influences zeta potential value. ► ζ potential is different for the live and dead Rt24 strain of Rhizobium leguminosarum. ► Measurement of ζ potential should not be repeated in the same sample in device cell.
