Limiting current data were measured on a vertical mono- and double-segment cylindrical electrode subjected to transverse vibration. The current data were recorded varying the segments diameter and thickness as well as the vibration amplitude and frequency. Increasing the amplitude and frequency of vibration improve the limiting current and therefore the mass transfer coefficient during the oxidation of [Fe(CN)6]4− on the platinum mono-segment electrode. On the other hand, the collection efficiency N of the copper–platinum double-segments electrode decreases when the amplitude and the frequency of vibration rise. The observation was assigned to the partial dispersion of the electroactive product (formed at the copper WE) in solution. The dispersion of ions is more pronounced at high frequency and amplitude of vibration.
